Customer Service Representative

Answering the phone for two Rehab teams and following through on the callers needs.
-Communicating with staff, other department secretaries and schedulers, and management personnel.
-Maintaining and updating the referral log for pending patient visits and compiling statistics with this data.
-Reading reports and notifying the necessary people with the information.
-Staying organized with paperwork so everything flows well.
-A lot of computer work; pulling reports, logging referrals, emailing, and contacting staff when needed with this information.
-Answering the phone, passing along information to managers, therapists, etc., running reports, updating information on the computer, emails, talking with people in the office as needed (therapists who come in, people from other departments, etc.)
-Telephone skills/Communication skills (customer service type experience or previous office experience would be beneficial as the secretary will be answering calls from patients/family members along with staff.
-Computer skills, needs to be proficient in using the computer to access, enter, and modify data in multiple systems.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
