About the position...

As a Rehabilitation Associate, your interactions with our individuals can be some of the most valuable components in that person's personal and vocational growth. Our individuals have a wide range of needs.

The Arc Wayne Rehabiliation Associate assist in many aspects of rehabilitation and care. Some of your job duties may entail, training through a variety of methods such as verbal and/or demonstrated directions, hands-on methods, group instruction, role modeling, role playing, positive interactions with peers and staff and more.

Our Rehabilitation Associates must possess high school diploma/GED. Experience in rehabilitation services and working with individuals with developmental disabilities preferred, plus theability to stoop, bend, push and pull and must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

This position requires a valid NYS driver's license and drive record which meets agency standards. Acceptable results of background (including criminal history check) and references checks required.

The hours for this position are Monday through Friday (7:30 a. m. - 2:00 p. m.) OR (8:00 a. m. to 2:30 p. m.) to include 1/2 hour unpaid meal break.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
